プラトン

アリストテレスにとって真の犬とは、そこらを走り回っている犬である。ぶち犬で、五歳で、オスで、右目をケガしているような犬である。プラトンにしてみれば、これは真の犬ではない。真の犬とは、すべての犬が共有し、あらゆる犬が包含される、犬的なるもののことなのである。

According to Aristotle, the true dog is the dog running around here: multicolored, five years old, male, with a wound on his right eye. For Plato this is not the true dog. The true dog does not run around. The true dog is dogness, that which is common to all dogs, in which all dogs participate.
